Water Ejector

Underlock Function
Specially designed underlock function eliminates any chances of leakage. These tiles are provided with a slope at the lock area to ensure smooth & rapid water movement. This function will prevent dust clogging and leakages by capillary movement

Flow guide Channel
In the event of extremely adverse climatic conditions, “Water flow guide channel”, a unique system developed & designed in japan, allows the excess water to orient through the channel provided on the bottom side of the under cover lock preventing minutest chance of leakages.

Headlock function
A headlock function is introduced adopting the traditional method to give your tile an extra grip apart from the nailing provision. These embossed head locks on the top portion will minimize the dislodging of tiles due to strong wind accompanied by heavy rains.

FAQ

How durable is a concrete tile?
Researches have shown that concrete tiles actually become stronger with time and have greater durability than any other roofing material.

Is there any truth in the matter that concrete tiles absorb water and thereby “double” in weight?
This is just a myth. In practice the absorption of water by capillary action during periods of heavy rain would increase their weight by just around 5 per cent. But this weight increase is unlikely to cause any doubling or roof failure

Does weathering make the tile porous?
The colour coating on tiles is only for decoration and doesn't act as water proofing agents. While these tiles are manufactured, a carefully graded and formulated raw material is used which is then compacted. This creates a product of high density and strength which keeps out the water.

Does Concrete Tiles withstand the coastal climate & sea air?
Modern day concrete tiles are the right solution for the roofing of houses that lie close to the coast. The physical properties of concrete tiles are not affected by prolonged exposure to the coastal environment.

Do Concrete Tiles Fade?
Any product or even living thing when exposed to nature for a long period will weather and take on a different appearance when compared to that which may be protected and not exposed. In roof tiles the colour fade is actually atmospheric pollution and dirt which can be cleaned if required.

What is a Colour Coat?
The colour coat comprises of cement which is of the same quality and characteristics as that used in the body of the tile. Good quality synthetic mineral oxide with a high degree of staining power is used to provide the various colours; a fine sand to provide strength and durability.

Why do Tiles lose their glaze?
Actually concrete tiles are not glazed. A clear sealer is applied to the surface of the tile during the time of manufacture to prevent efflorescence which is a common chemical phenomenon with concrete products. This sealer has a relatively short design life and will disappear, leaving the colour coat with the matt appearance for which the colour formulation was designed.
